In recent months, I have seen a growing number of posts about how bad technology is for us. Technology is blamed for social isolation, disconnection, and corruption. But I’ve also heard and seen how technology can be used for good — a means to connect, to share knowledge, to empower, even to save lives.
So which is it: Is technology good for us or bad for us? Does technology make us less happy or more happy? As Shakespeare once said, “there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”
Technology is a tool, a means to an end–and we get to decide how that story ends. My goal through this blog is to inspire a new way of thinking about technology, one that gives us new language with which to think about how we fuse technology into our lies.
Whether you are a busy professional who feels like you can’t escape the constant pings and interruptions of technology, a young adult overwhelmed by your digital footprint and in need of some strategically unplugging, or a minivan parent who fears you might have given birth to tech monsters rather than children– I have some good news for you!
First, you are not alone. And second, there are lots of really smart, creative and thoughtful people who have been generating some amazing ideas for how to balance productivity and well-being in the digital era. In fact, there are so many amazing resources that I have decided to start a blog to bring you the latest and greatest field-tested ideas for bringing order to the digital forces in your life.
The stories, interview, and ideas I will share are guaranteed to stretch you, wow you, and hopefully inspire you on your journey towards happiness. Thanks so much for joining me, and please help me spread the word by inviting colleagues, friends, and family to follow along too.

Technology is not about good or bad. its on people that how people use it. use in the good way or bad way.
It seems to me that technologies are bad because they create a new modern world from the one sight but destroy all natural things. And most people say that you become addicted to technologies – gadgets, computers, etc… I agree with that. Soon we will create a kind of electronic concentration camp.
It seems to me that technology is good for us. Most people say that it’s really bad for our children. But I’m not sure about that. In my opinion, technology give an opportunity to develop in all areas our life. For example you can study at an online university, therefore you can save your time.
The probelm is that some technology provide us prohibited information which beyond the limit of our laws.
Finally, you have to use the new technology, but very carefylly. Technology is part of my work and life.
It seems to me that technology is the main thing in the 21st century. It is one of the few things that makes your life better. Most people say that new technologies take a lot of your time and health. But I don’t think so. In my opinion, it is a human problem and not a technology problem. If people say that internet takes a lot of their time why do they use Facebook or another social network all the time? It’s all an excuse from people who are trying to get rid of their guilt. I think technology makes your life better, longer and easier.
It seems to me that technology is a good thing in overall. Most people say that technology make oue life more easer. But I’m not sure about that. In my opinion, ubiquity technology in education makes people more addicted to it.
For example, some people can’t do long division without calculator. The fact is that it deprives us of the opportunity to think ourselves. Finally, technology is very good thing but we can’t rely on it in everything.
Technology is important part of my life but not whole life.
We live in the modern world and adapt to its realities. For a man of the 10th century, it was normal to eat with your hands and they looked at the forks with horror. In the 18th century, people looked at the steamers with horror. Now we are experiencing the same period with IT technologies. We must go forward and do not fear the future.
