The Biography Channel originally produced and aired the documentary, which prominently features the High Point University campus students, faculty and staff, in September 2013.
Dr. Nido Qubein is an international speaker and accomplished author on sales, communication, and leadership. He is president of High Point University which has an enrollment of 4,300 undergraduate and graduate students. He is also chairman of Great Harvest Bread Company with 220 stores in 43 states.
Thank you for posting this remarkable story of a most remarkable man. His passion is amazing and his accomplishments extraordinary. He knows how to see the big picture and live into it with gusto! He is setting a new standard for higher education.

I will simply capture some of the power in this documentary: THE NIDO QUBEIN ENCOUNTER: Dr. Nido Qubein, president of High Point University, is in the business of planting seeds of greatness in the minds, hearts, and souls of students of High Point University and each and every person he meets. When he says: “We must exit the OCEAN of sameness and ENTER the small lake of differentiation. … Better still, THE SMALL POOL OF DISTINCTION.” He means it. To society, he says: “Together, we can march onward and upwards in remarkable ways. Choose to be extraordinary….I want to live in a continuum of learning.’ It is fitting and proper that .. He has invested his life work into High Point University. He completely changed the concept of what a college is suppose to be…The families of Nido Qubein are numerous. To people, professionals, and students world-wide, he truly is a coach, a model and a mentor. He continually espouses that: “Each of us can do amazing things because each of us is created for a purpose.
